We aim to provide you as much information as you need so we can provide you with the excellent service that you deserve.


Where are you located?

We are based in Croydon and we serve the whole of London, Surrey and surrounding areas, but our cakes can go anywhere in the UK and even in different parts of the world. This can be arranged accordingly. If you wish to collect, we would always recommend picking up your cake in a vehicle with an ample space on the floor. Please make sure it’s free from anything that can roll over or fall. All our cakes are boxed for transportation and they can be tall and very heavy. We do not advice travelling with it on your lap. Please do remember, we do not take any responsibility for any damage that may occur once it has left our premises.

Do you deliver and set-up?

Yes we do. We strongly suggest delivery and setup for all wedding cakes and for some multiple tiered special occasion cakes. We will deliver and set-up approximately 1-2 hours prior to the event start time.

Delivery to central London is £60 with an additional £12 congestion charge if required and delivery within 10 miles but outside Central London is £50. All other delivery charges can be provided on request.

Please note, additional fee may apply depending on the amount of time and complexity in setting-up the cake.

Please note, we do not have separate prices for wedding and celebration cakes. Most often than not, celebration cakes take just as much work as wedding cakes, if not more. It requires more colours and even more challenging sculpting and moulding skills. Because of this, we can’t offer them at cheaper prices. We use the same quality ingredients as the wedding cakes and we give the same attention to detail.

Do you offer tasting and consultation?

Our tasting and consultation services are offered to both wedding and celebration cake orders. We offer taster boxes of ‘baker’s choice’ samples of up to 5 flavours for you to try. This is complimentary if you have booked with a deposit to save your date, otherwise it is a small fee of £30. This fee can be redeemed against your full cake order when you choose to book with us provided your total order costs £295 and more.

We prepare taster boxes every 2 or 3 months and we will contact you when it’s available to make sure you try our flavours before our consultation or I can bring it with me in time for our meeting and you can decide the flavours later which we can confirm through email.

Ideally, we recommend a consultation at least 3 months before your event date. We do our consultations by our local cafe in Croydon which is very accessible via tram either from East Croydon or Wimbledon. We talk through your design ideas over a cup of tea or coffee. However, I understand it is not always possible to meet in person so a consultation can either be through phone call, video chat or email, whichever you feel most comfortable.



Do you need a deposit?

Yes. No order is booked with mere enquiry alone. We require an initial payment of either booking fee or 50% deposit before an order is booked.

Booking fee is £100 for wedding cakes and £50 for celebration cakes. This is non-refundable and non-transferable.

When everything’s been agreed upon on the final quote sent through email, invoice will be sent and 50% of the total order needs to be paid up to 3 days from the invoice date. The remaining balance is due 30 days before your wedding day or 14 days before your celebration day.


When should I book my order?

We only take a very limited amount of order per week. We recommend booking your date as early as possible, ideally 3 to 6 months in advance. This gives us plenty of time to prepare for your tasting, consultation and actual creation of your cake.

We may still be able to accommodate your orders on short notice so don’t hesitate to get in touch

Do you have minimum amount to order?

We don’t have a minimum spend, but the smallest cake we offer is a 6″ round and the price starts from £100. We also have sweet treats which you can order to match your cakes or can be ordered alone. Please refer to our Pricing Guide to check our minimum order for specific treats. 

For a taster box that costs £30, please note that this is only redeemable when the final order is over £295.

How do I pay?

All payments are made through bank transfer. Details will be in the invoice that will be sent as soon as you’re happy to proceed.

Please note, orders placed less than 2 weeks before due date needs to be paid in full.

What is your cancellation policy?

Your order is very important to us so. Please note that as soon as your order is confirmed and 50% deposit has been paid, we start working on your order – planning, organising and even ordering certain components of your cake. We may have turned away other orders too. This is the reason why your deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable.

In the event that you may need to cancel your order, the following cancellation charges will apply:

Over 31 days before the event date – the non-refundable deposit paid (i.e. 50% of the total order, including any booking fee) is forfeited.

21-30 days before the event date – 25% of the total order, less £50 cancellation fee, will be refunded, subject to the customer/s having made the full payment of the total order on or before 30 days before the event date, as outlined in the invoice.

11-20 days before the event date – 15% of the total order, less £50 cancellation fee, will be refunded, subject to the customer/s having made the full payment of the total order on or before 30 days before the event date, as outlined in the invoice.

10 days or less before the event date – all amounts paid are forfeited.

All cancellations must be made in writing.

Can you cater for any dietary requirements?

Our kitchen is NOT allergy-free. Whilst your cakes will not be made with any allergens you specified at the time of order, our products may come into contact with milk, wheat, nuts, soy, and other allergens. You will need to notify your guests of this risk and hold us harmless for allergic reactions. We cannot cater for strict special dietary requirements at the moment.

Can you provide the flowers, candles or toy toppers?

We supply the candles that match the colour of your cake, however these are just simple coloured ones. You can always change it and use your own candles if you want it more fancy.

You may supply the flowers and toy toppers and give to me in advance or I can source it out for you for an additional cost and I can set it up on the cake all set when delivered or in a pack (toy toppers) when collected for easy transport.

Can you add dummy cakes to my real cake orders?

We do offer a cake with part-dummy and part-cake tiers should you wish to achieve a certain height without having as much cake to serve. This may lessen the cost of your cake slightly.  If you happen to be considering this idea, please mention it when you enquire.
